Scrapbook pages kept by Mrs. Ritter, Wisconsin state chairman of World War II war bond drives and a member of the Committee on Wisconsin Women, which was headed by Ruth DeYoung Kohler and which participated in planning Wisconsin's centennial celebration in 1948. Four of the scrapbooks concern the war bond drives, but the fifth volume concerns the Committee on Women, the founding of the Women's Auxiliary of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin in 1950, the Society's building fund drive, and Ruth DeYoung Kohler.
